  2. Click Request data, then confirm through the email Spotify sends.
  3. Spotify emails a download link when it’s ready — usually within a day, though Spotify reserves up to 30.
  4. Drop the .zip here, or the folder if you already unzipped it.

Not 'Account data' — that one covers a single year and is offered first.

The account files bundled in the same zip are read past, not parsed — only the streaming history counts, so there’s nothing to sort out beforehand.

Ask for the *extended* history, not the one-year "Account data" — they share a page and only the extended one goes back to the beginning.
